An internet connection via an internet router is required for you to use your SmartHome. If possible, place the central unit in a central location (e.g. the hall) so that all devices are within wireless range. Inside the house, this range will be between 50 and 100 metres (depending on the ceiling thickness), while outside, it can be up to 300 metres.

If the central unit is not displayed in your SmartHome app, please check the following requirements:

  1. Do you have a first-generation central unitor a second-generation central unit?
  2. Is there a power socket near your internet router?
  3. Can you access the homepage at https://home.innogy-smarthome.dewith your smart phone or PC?
