Important information for logging in via the web browser
When encountering problems with logging in, it is helpful to delete the browser history (and therefore also the cache). Proceed as follows, depending on your browser:
Safari | 1. Open Safari. 2. Press the "cmd" + "alt" + "E" keys at the same time 3. Close the browser. 4. Reopen the browser and log in Important: If the combination of keys is ineffective, this video may help. |
Chrome | 1. Open Chrome. 2. Press the [Ctrl], [Shift] and [Delete] keys at the same time. Google Chrome will display the "Delete browser data" window in settings. 3. Click "Entire period" and "Delete browser data". 4. Close the browser. 5. Reopen the browser and log in. |
Firefox | 1. Open Firefox. 2. Press the [Ctrl], [Shift] and [Delete] keys at the same time. 3. Click "Entire period" and "Delete browser data". 4. Close the browser. 5. Reopen the browser and log in. Important: In some cases, it may appear that you cannot log in despite emptying the cache. Follow the instructions to solve the problem. |
Internet Explorer | 1. Open Internet Explorer. 2. Press the [Ctrl], [Shift] and [Delete] keys at the same time. The "Delete browser history" window will open. 3. Delete all the ticks, except for "Temporary Internet Files". 4. Close the window by clicking "Delete". 5. Close the browser. 6. Reopen the browser and log in. |
Edge | 1. Open Edge. 2. Go to the menu via the three dots at the top right-hand corner. 3. Click "Settings" to continue. 4. Scroll to the "Delete browser data" menu item and click "Choose option". 5. Highlight the items "Browser history", "Cookies" and "Cached data", then click "Delete". 6. Close Edge. 7. Reopen Edge and login at. |
iOS | 1. Delete the SmartHome app from your Apple device. 2. Delete your website data history via Settings → Safari → Delete history and website data. 3. Download the app from the App Store again. 4. Reopen the app and log in. |
